Movement Studio

In this Studio concept, visitors had the opportunity to create art with movement; exploring technology, tools, materials, and techniques.  In relation to the campus wide celebration Dance!, this Studio concept focused on engaging visitors in the ideas and concepts of art in relation to movement and how artists work using motion.

Visitors were able to: 

• Create a moving story using stop-motion animation. 

• Craft shadow puppets by mixing and matching paper animal cutouts and  then perform in our shadow puppet theater.

• Put on a drawing tool and experiment using their entire body to make marks through movement.
